FPTA Travel Grants
FPTA is pleased to award these monetary grants to members for their attendance at these key events.
APTA Federal Advocacy Forum
FPTA provides grants in the amount of $1,250 to up to four (4) members interested in attending the APTA Federal Advocacy Forum, typically held in the spring.
APTA Steve levine grant for House of Delegates
The FPTA offers the Steve Levine APTA HoD Student Grant, which includes two (2) travel grants of $1400, available for one DPT and one PTA student member to attend.
fpta annual conference & assembly of representatives
Th FPTA holds it's annual conference in Orlando, FL each year in September. Student Assembly Representative Program: One (1) student recommended by the program director from each program is provided with a free conference registration and up to $250 in travel reimbursement.
APTA State Policy and Payment Forum
Held in September of each year, the FPTA provides two (2) $750 travel grants for members to attend this forum.
APTA National Student Conclave
Held in October of each year, the FPTA provides two (2) $1200 travel grants, for one (1) PT and one (1) PTA student to attend the APTA National Student Conclave.
FPTA State Advocacy Days
travel grants up to $275 to cover the cost of travel, room and food for
attendees at the FPTA State Advocacy Days. This event is offered in odd years.
PT for Pain
PT for Pain is a project of the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA), dedicated to improving the health, wellness and quality of life of people in Florida by advancing the practice of physical therapy.
