FPTA events are created under the close direction of its members and are designed to provide high quality education and interaction to its members. The following provides a basic list of annual meetings; refer to the FPTA Schedule of Events for specifics.

FPTA Annual Conference & Assembly of Representatives

FPTA’s premier event, the Annual Conference & Assembly of Representatives is typically held in September of each year. It is a four-day event stuffed full of continuing education courses, member committee meetings and networking events. The FPTA Assembly of Representatives meets during this event to discuss proposed bylaw amendments and association governance issues. Exhibitors and sponsors are welcome.

FPTA Spring Conference

 

Typically held in late March or early April, the FPTA Spring Conference is a two-day event focusing primarily on continuing education sessions and networking opportunities.

 

FPTA State Advocacy Days

 

The FPTA State Advocacy Days is typically held in Tallahassee sometime during the weeks leading up to the Florida legislative session. Attendees attend legislative advocacy training and meetings with Florida lawmakers and aids are scheduled on the following day.

FPTA Student Conclave

Typically held each January, the FPTA Student Conclave is a one-day event hosted by a CAPTE-accredited program and coordinated by student members. Exhibitors are welcome.
