Nominating Committee

The job of the Nominating Committee is to prepare a slate of names for each office to be filled. Nominating Committee members are usually individuals who have been active in FPTA activities and as such, know a fair number of members who can be recruited to run for office in the association. More information about the Committee can be found in the Bylaws, Article VIII. Committees, Section 2. Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee is made up of three active or life members in good standing, elected each year by the general membership at the Fall conference. The Committee will meet and review nominees and prepare a slate of officers for election according to published deadlines and timetables.  The committee has revised the Nominations and Elections Committee Manual.
