Stephanie Svoboda, PT, DPT, MS  is a pediatrics physical therapist at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. She regularly takes students and has always shown an incredible commitment to clinical education. She became a credentialed clinical instructor and is the site coordinator for clinical education for Nicklaus Children's Hospital in the Miami area. The students mentored by Stephanie always speak very highly of her and her teaching style. She takes the time right from the beginning to sit with them and discuss their objectives as well as hers. She organizes PowerPoint presentations every week to complement their educational experience. She fosters an environment of open communication and receptiveness to the students’ needs and concerns. Time is of the essence in this day and age and the students recognize her efforts to do all that she can do to make their experiences an excellent one. For these reasons and more, it was our honor to present the FCCE’s clinical instructor excellence award to Stephanie Svoboda, PT, DPT, MS.

Stephanie is pictured on the right below with Elsa Drevyn, PT, DPT, who presented the award at the 2018 FPTA Annual Conference and Assembly of Representatives.
