The mission of the Florida Physical Therapists in private practice (FLPTPP) Special Interest Group is to protect, promote, advance, and grow physical therapist owned businesses in the state of Florida.
Our vision is to unite all Physical Therapist owned businesses and foster Physical Therapist ownership by proactively:
  • Linking members and resources
  • Sharing expertise and best practices
  • Promoting and marketing Physical Therapist owned businesses
  • Facilitating communication and information sharing
  • Improving financial stability with volume purchasing power
  • Advocating for members on legislative and non-legislative issues

Membership/Renewal

 

About Membership

There are 3 levels of membership: Owners, Members, and Student membership levels. Dues are paid annually on January 1st and are pro-rated 50% after July 1st. Membership in the FPTA is required to join this group.

  • "Owners" membership level is defined by having ownership in a physical therapist business. $25 until July 1, then $12.50 through the end of the year.
  • "Members" membership level is defined as a licensed PT/PTA. $10 until July 1, then $5 through the end of the year.
  • "Student" membership level currently enrolled in physical therapy accredited program. $5 until July 1, then $2.50 through the end of the year.

Private Practice Owner Level

Join the FPTA Private Practice SIG as a private practice owner and gain access to the Owner Listserv as well as forums, blogs and other benefits offered by the group.

Member and Student Levels

Join the FPTA Private Practice SIG as a non-owner member or student and gain access to forums, blogs and other benefits offered by the group*. Membership in the FPTA is required to join this group.

*This membership does not include access to the Owner Listserv; that service is limited to the Private Practice Owner membership.
