The Northern District is pairing CEs with wine and cheese. One price gets you into both events. Please Note: You must be 21 or older to taste the wine, all ages can enjoy the cheese!
Come out and enjoy a night of learning, networking, and delicious wine and cheese - all while supporting physical therapy practice advocacy in Florida. Allison Ivak, Wine Consultant, will be providing an assortment of various white and red wines along with a selected pairing of cheeses.
One hour of live continuing education towards 2019 PT and PTA license renewal is approved for the dry needling course.
Remote Attendance Available
Remote attendance for the live continuing education course "This Won't Hurt a Bit: An Update on Dry Needling in Florida" is available via the Zoom application or platform on the Internet. You will need a computer or the Zoom app to access the presentation. The price is the same, just choose the remote ticket while registering.

This Won't Hurt a Bit: An Update on Dry Needling in Florida
Join us for an exciting and informative course discussing recent updates on dry needling in Florida. Attendees will be provided with the history and theory of dry needling, as well as an update on the Florida Board of Physical Therapy rule, FPTA advocacy efforts in this area and its relevance to the practice of physical therapy in Florida.

About the Presenter
Kevin Lulofs-MacPherson, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Kevin Lulofs-MacPherson is a physical therapist, fellowship-trained & orthopedic-certified, who has 14 years of clinical practice, three years experience as a fellowship instructor, and 4 years as a full-time faculty member for the University of Florida. He loves to teach and mentor, specifically in the clinical environment and/or within clinical coursework; he is addicted to evidence-based, patient-centered care; and he strongly desires to continue providing patient care while mentoring the future generations of our profession. He wishes to do everything he can to give back to the profession that has given him so much.
